Welcome to Mules N More Rescue & Rehab! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get started as a volunteer — from filling out your application to signing up for events and bringing guests along.
Step 1: Fill Out the Volunteer Application
First-time volunteers need to complete our Volunteer Application. Go to mulesnmorerescue.org/volunteer-signup and fill in your name, date of birth, address, email, password, pin, and the other required fields. Once submitted, we’ll review your application and activate your account. You will receive a email notification that your account has been approved.
Step 2: Log In to the Volunteer Portal
Once your account is approved, go to mulesnmorerescue.org/volunteer-portal. Enter your email and the passowrd you created during your application, then click Open My Portal.
Step 3: Review Your Profile & Sign the Volunteer Waiver
After logging in, you’ll land on your Profile tab. Here you can see your volunteer status, portal role, volunteer code, and waiver status. You can also update your password from this tab.
Step 4: Browse Open Opportunities
Click the Opportunities tab to see all upcoming volunteer events. Each listing shows the event title, date and time, location, how many spots are filled, and whether guests are welcome. When you find an event you’d like to attend, you’ll see a Sign Up button next to it.
Step 5: Sign Up & Add Guests
To register for an event, enter the number of guests you’re bringing (0–3) and provide their names in the Guest Names field (if applicable), then click Sign Up. Guest names are required so we can have an accurate headcount. Once registered, the event will show Signed Up in your row.
Step 6: View Your Assignments
Head to the Assignments tab to see every event you’ve signed up for. You can review your upcoming commitments and, if needed, cancel an assignment from this screen. Please give us as much notice as possible if you’re unable to make it!
